Family

Hello Johann
Thank you for your email. it sounds like your English is actually quite good.
You are very welcome to come and stay at our farm for a month in July. I think it is wonderful that someone from France is intersted in studying Maori culture and tatoos. i would really like to help you with that.
I will try to answer your questions.
If you stay at our farm you will be asked to work for half a day each day. Usually you will work in the morning and then have the afternoon free to do what you like. In winter there is still work on the farm. In July the calves are being born and there is always work to do with the calves. Also I am planting a 2 hectare block in New Zealand Native trees and you would be helping with this.
You will stay in a beautiful home and have a very nice room for yourself. All of your meals are included in the arrangement.
If you let me know when you are arriving I can arrange to pick you up from Auckland.
Also it might be of interest to you that 10 minute away from my farm is a Maori Marae. This is a communal living place where an extended Maori family live.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Anne

Hello Johan
You are welcome to come to my farm. I will be away on holiday until the 10th of July, so I cannot pick you up until the 10th. I would suggest that you go straight to Auckland City on the shuttle and stay in thr city at the youth hostel or at a backpackers from the 6th to the 10th. Auckland is a very interesting city and there is lots to see. I can pick you up from the city on the 10th July. I suggest a backpackers hostel in the city which is called Conners Top Floor Hostel. It is very cheap and the people are very friendly. If you would like to talk to me you can phone me on **** ********. My cell phone number is **********.
i have been to a lot of places in Europe but not to France. I like to ski so I have skiied this year in january in Italy and last year in Switzerland. If you like to ski you can come with me to the mountain in the weekends while you are here.
I look foward to hearing from you soon.
Anne

Hello Johan
I think it is a good idea to go to more thab one farm, especially if you want to meet lots of people. I will tell you about my family.
At the farm is living myself, my parents who are in their late 60's, My son who is 20 with hi girlfiend and a baby, and also my daughter who is 18, and also a girl from Irelnd who is a scientist and is in charge of the cheese factory close to here. I also have two other daughters who live close to here. they are 25 and 22. I have 2 other grandchildren who live close to here as well. Usually this house is very busy with family and wwoofers. At the moment there are two german girls who are here and they will still be here when you come for a little while.
I am also a musician and so are all my children. They are singers and also play piano. They have all been in the national youth choir and travelled to Europe last year to compete in festivals.
The first calf has just been born and i expect more calves to born over the next 6 weeks.
I look foward to meeting you. if you want to phone me then the best time is between 6 and 9 in the morning in France.
Thank you for the photo of your family. I will try to send a photo but i'm not very good with computers.
If you need any help with booking a backpackers hostel in Auckland city let me know and i will do it for you.
My phone is **** ********.
Bye Anne

Voilà. Je pense que j'ai vraiment de quoi faire des jaloux avec ce voyage. Même si je recommence à me poser des question... le voyage va être vraiment long, et je n'aurais pas le droit à l'erreur...
